But Jack doesn’t listen, Jack isn’t sacred.

Quick as we can, let’s go, let’s run.

我們快點兒出發(fā)去小樹林吧!跑得越快越好。快走吧!

“Join me, Dan, it will be good fun.”

Dan, 和我一起吧!會很有趣的!

It is cold in the woods, full of shadows and mist.

樹林里又冷又黑，充滿了迷霧。

“This is no fun. Can we go now, Jack?”

“這一點兒也不好玩兒，我們快回去好不好，

“But Dan, I am not sure how to get back!”

“可是，Dan，我不確定還能不能找到回去的路。”

Then a crash and a cry gives the pair a fright.

過了一會兒，一陣隆隆聲和哭喊聲嚇到了這兩只小青蛙。

“Is that a wail, a howl or a yell?”

“這是什么情況?到底是什么聲音呢?

How can I tell?

Oh Jack, will it hurt us?

噢!Jack，它會傷害我們么?

“It’s a ghost! A monster! A horrible brute!”

No, now I can hear, I am sure it’s a hoot.

都不是，現(xiàn)在我聽出來了，是貓頭鷹的叫聲。

“Look! It’s an owl, trapped under a tree.”

“看!是一只貓頭鷹在樹下。它被捕了。

Can we set it free?

我們可以放它出來么?

Let’s see if we can.

我們試試吧。

Do not hurt us, owl.

別傷害我們，貓頭鷹。

Now tug hard, Dan.

Dan，現(xiàn)在請你用力拉!

Yes!

耶!我們成功啦!

“Do you need to get home? Let me take you there.”

“你們要回家么?我可以送你們回去。”

Jack and Dan and the owl zoom up in the air.

Jack和Dan坐在了貓頭鷹的背上一起飛上了天空。

The owl sets them down, and they wave goodbye.

貓頭鷹把他們放下來，揮手說再見。

I will not go back to the woods.

我不會再去小樹林了。

Nor will I.

我也不會。
