相信很多孩子的玩具中都會(huì)有一輛汽車(或大或小)，它可以翻山越嶺，上天入地，挑戰(zhàn)一切速度和艱難險(xiǎn)阻，是住在他們心中的大英雄。

繪本Little Blue Truck《藍(lán)色小卡車》，是美國(guó)童書作家愛麗絲·謝特爾的代表作。我們的小寶寶可以在故事中認(rèn)知?jiǎng)游?、聲音、顏色，讓他們懂得禮貌的打招呼會(huì)帶來(lái)好人緣，熱心助人，自己也會(huì)更快樂。

Horn went “Beep!” Engine purred. Friendliest sounds you ever heard.

喇叭“嘟嘟“，引擎嗶嗶，也許這是你聽過的最好聽的聲音。

Little Blue Truck came down the road.“Beep!” said Blue to a big green toad.

藍(lán)色小卡車，開上大馬路?！皢?”他向大綠蟾蜍打了個(gè)招呼。

Toad said, “Croak!” and winked an eye when Little Blue Truck went rolling by.

蟾蜍回聲“呱!”，一只眼眨了眨。藍(lán)色小卡車，開過他身旁。

Sheep said, “Baaa!”

“咩!”綿羊叫。

Cow said, “Moo!”

“哞!”奶牛叫。

“Oink!” said a piggy.

“呼嚕嚕!”小豬在哼哼。

“Beep!” said Blue.

“嗶!”藍(lán)色小卡車喊道。

“Cluck!” said a chicken, and her chicksaid, “Peep!”

母雞打招呼：“咯咯!”小雞跟著叫：“嘰嘰!”

“Maaa!” said a goat.

“呣——”山羊在問好。

Blue said, “Beep!”

藍(lán)色小卡車說(shuō)：“嗶!”

“Neigh!” said a horse.

“嘶——”馬兒吼。

“Quack!” said a duck.

“嘎嘎!”鴨子叫。

“Beep!” said the friendly Little BlueTruck.

“嗶!”藍(lán)色小卡車友善的回應(yīng)道。

“Honk!” yelled adump truck.

“轟!”翻斗車大吼。

“Coming through! I’ve big important thingsto do! I haven’t got time to pass the day with every duck along the way!”

“借過!借過!我有重要的事要做!我可沒工夫跟路上的每只鴨子打招呼!”

ROOM went to Dump around a curve.

撲哧!開到轉(zhuǎn)彎處。

He saw apuddle and he tried to swerve-Into the mud rolled the big fat truck, and his big important wheels got Stuck!

翻斗車看見一個(gè)大泥潭，他趕緊扭轉(zhuǎn)方向盤——這個(gè)笨重的大家伙，陷進(jìn)爛泥里，他那很重要的大車輪，被卡得沒法動(dòng)!

His heavy-duty dump-truck tires were sunk down deep inmuck and mire.

身負(fù)重任的翻斗車輪胎在淤泥里越陷越深，根本出不來(lái)。

“Honk!“cried theDump, and he sounded scared, but nobody heard (or nobody cared)

“轟!”翻斗車害怕得拼命叫喊，但是根本沒人聽見。(或者說(shuō)沒人理他)

Then…

然后...

Into the mud bump bump bump came the Little Blue Truck to help the Dump.

砰砰砰砰砰砰，藍(lán)色小卡車沖進(jìn)泥潭，來(lái)幫翻斗車的忙。

Little Blue pushed with all his might—— now Blue and the Dump were BOTH stuck tight.

藍(lán)色小卡車使勁推，用盡一切力量——結(jié)果卻和翻斗車一樣被困牢。

“Help! Help! Help!” cried the Little BlueTruck.

“救命!救命!救命!”藍(lán)色小卡車大聲叫。

“Beep! Beep! Beep! I’m stuck! I’m stuck!”

“嗶!嗶!嗶!我被卡住啦!根本動(dòng)不了!”

Everybody heard that “Beep! Beep! Beep!”

“嗶!嗶!嗶!”這次大家都聽到。

The cow came running with the pig and the sheep.

奶牛、小豬和綿羊，趕緊朝著那邊跑。

Up at a gallop ran the big brown horse.

大棕馬像風(fēng)一樣飛奔到現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。

Goatjumped over the fence, of course.

山羊跳過籬笆來(lái)幫忙。

The hen came flapping with the chick andthe duck, and everybody pushed the Little Blue truck.

母雞、小雞和鴨子撲打著翅膀趕過來(lái)。大家一起用力，去推藍(lán)色小卡車。

Head to head and rump to rump they allpushed Blue-who pushed the Dump.

用頭頂，用屁股搡，他們推藍(lán)色小卡車，藍(lán)色小卡車推翻斗車。

They couldn’t quite budge that heavy load.Then who hopped up but the big green toad.

可他們沒能讓重載翻斗車挪動(dòng)一小步。突然那只大綠色蟾蜍跳出來(lái)。

All together-one…two…three! One last push and the trucks were FREE!

所有人預(yù)備，一——二——三!一起用力推，兩輛卡車出了泥潭!

“Thanks, little brother,” said the Dump to Blue.

“謝謝你，小兄弟。”翻斗車對(duì)藍(lán)色小卡車說(shuō)。

“You helped me and they helped you.

“你幫了我，他們幫了你。

Now I see a lot depends on a helping handfrom a few good friends!”

現(xiàn)在我明白了，很多事都得靠好朋友出手幫個(gè)忙，要不可真做不到!”

“Beep!“ said Blue.

“嗶!”藍(lán)色小卡車說(shuō)。

“Who wants s ride?” Everybody scrambled to jump inside.

“誰(shuí)想搭個(gè)車?”大家爭(zhēng)先恐后跳上車。

Oink! Quack! Baaa! Moo! Cluck! Peep! Neigh!Croak! Maaa!”

咩!哞!嘎嘎!呣!嘶!呼嚕嚕!咯咯!嘰嘰!呱!

Beep! Beep!Beep!

嗶嗶嗶!
