The water butt was leaking.

水桶正在流水。

Mum looked at the hose.

The hose was leaking.

媽媽看著膠皮管。膠皮管在漏水。

“Oh bother!” said Mum.

“歐，麻煩來了!”媽媽說。

Dad mended the water butt.

He put a patch on it.

爸爸修理了大水桶。

他放了一塊補丁在上面。

“What a tricky job!” he said.

“多么復雜的工作啊!”他說。

The water butt burst.

All the water came out.

水桶爆裂了。

所有的水流了出來。

Dad got wet.

爸爸弄濕了。

Mum mended the hose.

She put a patch on it.
