High-Tech Treasure Hunt begins with the story of two kids who share the same love of games-sixteen-year-old Hee Jung, an exchange student, and Trey, a fifth grader. When it is time for Hee Jung to return to South Korea, she gives Trey a parting gift: an elaborate treasure hunt using all the latest technology. As Trey's teenage brother Sol helps him on the hunt, the brothers become closer.

高科技尋寶游戲始于兩個對游戲有著相同熱愛的孩子——16 歲的交換生 Hee Jung 和五年級學生 Trey 的故事。 當希貞要返回韓國時，她給了特雷一份離別禮物：使用所有最新技術精心設計的尋寶游戲。 當 Trey 十幾歲的弟弟 Sol 幫助他打獵時，兄弟倆的關系變得更加親密。

RAZ有嚴密的分級體系：根據(jù)全文詞匯數(shù)、高頻詞詞匯數(shù)與比例、低頻詞詞匯數(shù)與比例、句子長度、句子復雜度、句式、插圖信息量、思想深度、主題等多個角度，將整個閱讀體系分為aa，A-Z共27個級別。

RAZ旨在幫助孩子找到適合孩子水平的級別，通過在同一級別下的大量閱讀逐步提高孩子的閱讀能力。

RAZ按難度分為27個級別，AA—C這4個級別對應幼兒園階段; D—J這7個級別對應美國小學一年級;K—P這6個級別對應美國小學二年級;Q—T這4個級別對應美國小學三年級;U—W這3個級別對應美國小學四年級;X—Z對應美國小學五六年級(相當于國內(nèi)高中畢業(yè))。
