Mrs. Tiggywinkle saw some potato soup.
She put it on the table.
"Cousin, eat this soup," she said.
“You must get well."
"That is Simpkin's lunch," the tailor said.
"He is my friend.
He went to buy buttons for this coat."
"Simpkin will not mind," Mrs.Tiggywinkle said.
“Please. You must eat."
The tailor ate the soup.
Soon Simpkin came back.
He rubbed his belly.
"It's time for lunch," he said.
"And I am very hungry."
Tiggywinkle 太太看到了一些土豆湯。
她把它放在桌子上。
“表姐，喝這湯。”她說。
“你一定要好起來的。”
“那是辛普金的午餐，”裁縫說。
“他是我的朋友。
他去買這件外套的紐扣。”
“辛普金不會介意的，”蒂吉溫克爾夫人說。
“請。 你必須吃。”
裁縫吃了湯。
很快辛普金回來了。
他揉了揉肚子。
“該吃午飯了，”他說。
“而且我很餓。”
